The Young people took part in an 8 week Public Speaking course through "Speakers Corner Croydon &  Speakers Corner Trust funded through the "Young Speakers Grant" 

 

This allowed and created a new opportunity for young people to come together to discuss their interests and priorities, concerns, and hope for the future.

 

Certificates of completion were awarded to the young people by the Civic Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Alisa Flemming at the Clever Chrissie BHM Book Launch event at Croydon Central Children's Library on 26th October 2022.
