Key Stage 4 - Year 10-11

Age of students: 14 - 16 years
Year 10 and 11 students are encouraged to work to the best of their ability and are also encouraged to become independent learners. All students are assessed, this information along with their school report helps us to support and develop their English and Maths further.

English (Aims and objectives)

To provide help and support in preparation for module tests, coursework, mock exams and final examinations. Resources and practice papers help students gain confidence and guide them through each topic.

Maths (Aims and objectives)

To work according to the National Curriculum framework for Key Stage 4 (Higher, Intermediate and Foundation) levels. Support will be provided to assist and provide further guidance related to coursework.

Expectations

We have high expectations of all students. They are expected to attend each session fully equipped.

Fun and enjoyment

Time is spent on the internet looking at interactive revision sites as each student has access to a computer. A good mix of students from Croydon schools encourages the sharing of experiences through group work and discussion.
