Drugs have gone worldwide now, from medical to illegal drugs. The fact is all drugs carry risks and especially the use or injection of illegal drugs is most risky because being convicted can cause an arrest or plague you with infections like HIV, Hepatitis B or C, damaged veins etc...
Possession of an unlawful or illegal drug is an obvious criminal offence. Also it can cause an overdose, leading to more terrible conditions and especially death. the law concerning these drugs are:
Class A drugs: cocaine, crack, heroin, ecstasy, LSD and magic mushrooms - If you're caught with any, you will face a prison sentence of 7 years max. and an unlimited fine.
Class B drugs: speed (unless prepared in injection, becoming a Class A drug) - Possession is 2 years max. prison sentence and an unlimited fine. Please Note: Intentions of supply these drugs would be 14 years max. prison sentence.
Class C drugs: cannibis, GHB anabolic steroids, tranquilisers - Possession is a maximum of 2 years in prison and an unlimited fine and the supplier will definetely face a 14 year prison senteence max. and an unlimited fine.
If you're caught smoking cannabis and you're under 18, its very likely you'll be arrested. You will then be referred to a drugs service like the "Drugs 'n' Alcohol(DNA)"

GUNS:
Firearm offences have grown increasingly over the years since 1998. The law states that:
It is illegal to carry any weapon, even for protection
Carrying CS Gas can also cause arrest as it is also seen as a firearm
It is an offence to carry an air weapon or fake weapon in public without any legal or reasonable excuse.
The age limit to possess an air rifle is 17
A "mandatory" minimum sentence on conviction of carrying a firearm is 5 years.
