Heritage River Trail – “Westenders to Eastenders”

Guide by S.I. Martin

To commemorate International Slavery Memorial Day, Steve Martin’s Black History River tour looked at how historical events have shaped London, making it into the city it is today. Featuring key sites and individuals, and with River Thames as one of the most important characters, Steve Martin presents a narrative of how London serves as the backdrop for some of the most important events in history, from slavery to the Pan Africanist movement.
