Founder of CSEP – Mr Andy Johnson

Mr Andy Johnson and Mrs Cynthia Graham were the original founders of CSEP.

Mr Johnson pioneered CSEP for 15 years with a vision for BME students in Croydon to receive supplementary education providing an opportunity to enable students to reach their full potential.

The Management Committee and the Operations Manager, Mr Sasha Rhoden now run CSEP.

Organisation background

CSEP has operated at several locations throughout the borough of Croydon throughout the years. CSEP is now located in a four storey building in the centre of Croydon, with excellent transport links such as Tram, Bus and Train with car parking facilities at the front and rear of our office.

CSEP has been in operation since 1982 and is currently one of the most established supplementary education providers in Croydon, with a good reputation of delivering services in education to minority groups in the voluntary sector.

CSEP employs 27 teachers to deliver supplementary education on Saturdays; 5 day staff, inclusive of an Operations Manager who manages the day to day running of the organisation, together with a Management Committee of 12 members.
